    Abstract or Summary:

    This document summarises the key issues of the transformation of Argentine Agriculture and follows up with an evaluation of the economic benefits accrued and distributed from it. A summary of the most relevant issues dealing with the rate of adoption of technologies by farmers and determinants of the observed innovation dynamics is included. Sector-wide effects resulting from the innovation process are determined and analysis of the most relevant economic benefits resulting from it. Some consideration is given to the nature of the process itself and identifies issues that may need attention in the near future.
