How to use the databaseThe database offers you different options for searching for information on biotech crops. Further details are available from the links below: Recommendation for new papers and feedbackThe database is a "work in progress" and will be regularly updated with new publications. If you are aware of additional papers you believe should be added, we welcome your recommendations. We also welcome any feedback and suggestions for improvements. Please send details or contact us by clicking here. Search by CategoryThe papers in the database have been sorted into seven categories which are listed on the left hand side. Some papers appear in more than one category if they contain relevant information. Under each category there is the option of viewing:
By selecting Relevant Papers in one of the specific categories, the database will identify and display a full list of those papers relating to that category. Clicking on one of the individual papers will provide the abstract or summary of the paper and a further link will open the full publication as a pdf file. Search all papersIf you wish to search for studies relevant to an enquiry on a specific crop, a particular trait, in a particular country or region, or with a particular impact, use the search facility on the right hand side. Use the dropdown menus to select the crops, traits, countries, regions and impact areas you are interested in, then click on '>> Search'. Clicking on one of the individual papers listed under Search Results, will provide the abstract or summary of the paper and a further link will open the full publication as a pdf file. Full list of papersIf you wish to view all the papers in the database use the link on the right hand side. As before clicking on one of the individual papers will provide the abstract or summary of the paper and a further link will open the full publication as a pdf file. Keyword SearchIf you wish to carry out a general search e.g. for author, this can be done by entering the word(s) or phrase in the box provided on the right hand side. This will search all text and papers and list the results. |
